From October to March, we can spot this bird in a brown coat and a red tie on its throat in wild brushwood or farmlands. It also has white eyebrows and two white moustaches.
Ruby-throats mostly live in bushes from ground level to low altitude areas, or fields with thick silvergrass. Due to their natural shyness, they will not easily show themselves to people. Often we can only catch a glimpse of them.
